Septal Stapler

ENTACT Septal Stapler

Overview

Breathe easier1-4

The redesigned ENTACT  Septal Stapler aims to make septoplasty closure faster and more efficient*

Conventional techniques for septoplasty can involve suturing of patients’ nasal passages and the placement of splints, which can potentially be painful upon removal. The ENTACT Septal Stapler is a single-use system helps surgeons to achieve consistent and efficiency flap closure with a bioresorbable staple.**1,2

Compared to conventional techniques:

  • Helps reduce OR time – approximation achieved in less than 60 seconds**1
  • Helps surgeons achieve more consistent results**1

Innovations in septo-turb procedures

The improved ENTACT Septal Stapler features (compared to the previous version):

  • An approximate 30% reduction in the distal ends3
  • Improved Columella clearance, due to the smaller distal ends3
  • A redesigned, ergonomic grip

Using bioresorbable septal staples

Provides functional support for up to 1 week, with approximation typically achieved in less than 60 seconds.**1 Bioresorbable implants made of PLGA can be placed through cartilage or soft tissue grafts.4-6

What does the clinical evidence say?

Significant 92% reduction in the time to septal flap closure and a 35% reduction in operating time, compared to quilting sutures**1

In a study, 79% of patients experienced no inflammation and 21% experienced only mild inflammation***2

Demonstrated comparable outcomes to nasal packing and trans-septal suturing****7

An end-to-end solution for effective septo-turbinate resection and flap closure

Designed to facilitate precise, minimally-invasive soft-tissue resection, COBLATION Technology is suitable for use in septo-turb procedures.

  • Integrated hemostasis with bipolar coagulation
  • Lower temperatures than other RF based systems8
