Smith & Nephew TRUGRAFT◊ Syringes come preloaded with TRUGRAFT Granules and offer a convenient intraoperative delivery system, especially for hard-to-access sites. TRUGRAFT Granules provide an ideal environment for bone healing. Made with Smith & Nephew POLYGRAFT technology —  a proprietary, composite material with a porous architecture that mimics natural bone —  TRUGRAFT Granules are designed to resorb and be replaced with natural tissue during the healing process. Easily mixed with sterile fluids, the granules can be packed into irregularly shaped defects and can withstand mechanical loading without crushing.

Composed of clinically proven resorbable polymers, ceramics, fibers and other agents. Hydrophilic to absorb blood, marrow, cells and proteins.

Sterile, not derived from human or animal tissue, no special handling required.

The TRUGRAFT Syringe is indicated for the aspiration of fluids, such as autogenous blood, plasma, or other blood components with preloaded bone graft substitute. The TRUGRAFT Granules are indicated for use in filling bony voids or gaps caused by trauma or surgery that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure. TRUGRAFT Granules may be combined with autogenous blood products such as platelet-rich plasma and/or sterile fluids such as saline or Ringer's solutions.
