  1. Naproxen

    • A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and swelling within the joint.
  2. Narcotic

    • Strong pain reliever, prescribed by a physician, to help reduce pain associated with arthritis.
  3. Non-Union

    • A fracture that shows no signs of healing (or has not healed).
  4. NSAID

    • Abbreviation for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug; does not contain corticosteroids and is used to decrease pain and inflammation; aspirin and ibuprofen are two types of NSAIDs.
