External Fixation
- A procedure that stabilizes and joins the ends of broken bones by a splint or cast or a series of pins inserted through the skin into the bone and connected to rods outside of the body.
Exudate
- Accumulation of fluids in wound; may contain serum, cellular debris, bacteria, and leukocytes
