Why did my doctor prescribe EXOGEN?

Smith & Nephew

Your doctor wants to do everything possible to help you heal faster. If your fracture is fresh (recent), the goal is probably to help get you back to your active lifestyle as quickly as possible.

Your doctor may also prescribe EXOGEN◊ ultrasound if he or she thinks your fracture is not healing as quickly as it should. This may be especially true if you have one or more of the medical factors that can delay healing (diabetes, smoking, osteoporosis, age, medications, etc).
