There are three indicator lights located to the left of the digital display 
Door: when illuminated, an amber Door light indicates that the console door is not completely closed.
Pedal: when illuminated, an amber Pedal light indicates that the foot pedal is not properly connected. 
Error: when illuminated, an Error light indicates a system error. This may be cleared by toggling the power switch off and on.

Once the system has been primed with saline, do not allow the saline bag to empty; an empty bag will allow air into the system and reduce the system's efficiency. Therefore, always change to a new saline bag before the bag in use empties. If air does enter the system, pump fluid on high setting until the system is purged of all air.

Remove the hand piece from the wound site. Stop the jet flow by releasing the foot pedal. Remove the obstruction with forceps taking care not to touch the opening in the high-pressure jet. Once removed, depress the foot pedal and check that there is a single coherent jet flow. If the obstruction is not completely removed, repeat procedure.

VERSAJET^◊ is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. VERSAJET^◊ creates a localised vacuum to hold cut and remove tissue and aspirate wounds. VERSAJET^◊ can be used in difficult to reach areas with limited access. VERSAJET^◊ is not suitable for use in areas that are required to be filled with fluid or gas for visualisation purposes as VERSAJET^◊ will evacuate these as it debrides.

VERSAJET^◊ is not the same as pulsed lavage. VERSAJET^◊ is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. VERSAJET^◊ works in a completely different way to pulsed lavage. With VERSAJET^◊ a controlled tight beam of sterile saline travels parallel to the wound creating a localised vacuum that enables the surgeon to hold cut and remove tissue and debris and at the same time irrigate and aspirate the area covered. VERSAJET^◊ does not spray saline directly into the wound. Pulsed lavage sprays saline directly into the wound and onto debris.

VERSAJET^◊ is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. VERSAJET^◊ is a debridement device and at higher power settings will cut soft tissues. VERSAJET^◊ should be used with caution around delicate structures and should be used at low settings to begin with.

VERSAJET^◊is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. VERSAJET^◊ is not intended to cut bone, however in higher power settings it can debride wounds of small bone fragments and may remove very soft diseased bone.

VERSAJET^◊ is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. VERSAJET^◊ is not intended as a cement removal tool and is not designed to cut up or remove cement mantles or large pieces of cement mantle. However VERSAJET^◊ will remove smaller particles of cement from the soft tissues and joint spaces.

VERSAJET^◊ is intended to debride wounds of damaged, diseased or necrotic soft tissue. In addition it will remove contaminants and debris. Accurate debridement of the soft tissue can been seen to reduce bleeding due to the ability to debride down to punctuate bleeding tissue rather than taking more tissue than desired and encouraging copious bleeding. VERSAJET^◊  facilitates accurate debridement of wounds by allowing the surgeon to plane down through the tissues and get very good visibility of the operative sight. VERSAJET^◊ does not have a cautery action.
