Larger femoral heads provide greater ROM

Revolutionary Stability

Increased range of motion is a key design impetus for the R3 Acetabular System. The catalyst for a Revolution in Motion is a commitment to design synergy between neck geometry and liner providing maximum head/shell ratios (36mm head size - 52mm shell size).

Additionally, the liners sit flush with the face of the shell, further maximizing range of motion. The resulting enhanced ROM decreases the risk of impingement, joint subluxation and prosthetic loosening—all contributors to revision surgery.
