The KINSA◊ Suture Anchor is designed for use in arthroscopic glenohumeral joint stability procedures. By giving surgeons the ability to adjust suture tension independent of anchor depth and perform repairs that don't require knot tying, the suture anchors provide the "golden difference" in shoulder repair.

Better Control of the repair

Shift the tissue when you want it, including directly over the anchor. With no inserter present, there is no interference in a complete labrum shift.

You control the amount of tension in the suture without driving the anchor deeper into the bone.

Ease of use

The KINSA◊ Suture Anchor includes a preloaded anchor with a locking, sliding knot inside - the same technology as Smith & Nephew's FAST-FIX◊ Meniscal Repair System.

Low profile fixation

Thanks to the pre-tied knot in the anchor, procedures performed with the KINSA◊ Suture Anchor

Pullout strength

Pullout strength of the KINSA◊ Suture Anchor is greater than the Arthrex® Pushlock Anchor
 Kinsa_Overview_PulloutStrength
 Kinsa_Overview_Ultrabraid1
The ULTRABRAID◊ Suture loop on the anchor is shuttled into the joint and through the tissue to be repaired.
 Kinsa_Overview_Ultrabraid2
Once the ULTRABRAID◊ Suture loop has passed halfway through the tissue, the KINSA◊ Suture Anchor is passed through the loop and inserted into the predrilled hole.
 Kinsa_Overview_Ultrabraid3
The anchor is tapped in, and the suture loop is reduced tightly around the tissue by pulling on the impaction knob that secures the free leg of suture.
 Kinsa_Overview_Ultrabraid4
The tissue shifts right over the hole, and the single leg of suture is cut.
