Current Knee System Limitations

Limitations of traditional knee systems

In current TKA systems, the articular surfaces are not anatomically precise, femoral positioning is too far posterior and ACL function is lacking. Because of these factors, the femur pivots laterally and normal femoral external axial rotation cannot be achieved.
