Case Study Submissions
Smith & Nephew is looking for quality NPWT case studies to develop a body of clinical evidence and best practices for the use of the V1STA and EZCARE systems. Please submit your entries by May 1, 2008.
Rules
Up to fifteen (15) cases will be selected. The authors will attend and present these cases at the 3rd Annual Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care, October 27-31, 2008, in Las Vegas, NV. Selected presenters will receive round-trip coach airfare, hotel accommodations for days of required presentation and a $500 stipend.
Case studies are limited to the use of V1STA or EZCARE negative pressure wound therapy systems.
V1STA and EZCARE are indicated for patients who would benefit from a suction device, particularly as the device may promote wound healing.
Case studies will be judged by an independent body of professionals. To be eligible for judging, case studies must meet the standards set by the conference(s) as acceptable poster submissions.
The authors of all cases selected must be available for presenting at the conference(s) and be willing to attend conference sessions.
All authors must follow the template below to be eligible.
All submissions become the property of Smith & Nephew. Smith & Nephew reserves the right to publish and reprint all submitted case studies.
All clinicians must adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 rules and regulations relating to patient privacy, and must ensure that all information submitted can be published and reprinted without breach of privacy under HIPAA.
Full-face photographic images and comparable images must not be included, nor should the cases include subjects over the age of 89 years.
Entries are due by May 1, 2008. Authors of selected papers will be notified by July 2008.
Electronic entries with high-resolution digital photos are preferred.
