The Code of Business Principles which incorporates our values of performance, innovation and trust sets out the principles which the Group is expected to follow in all aspects of its business. An ethical and honest approach in all we do at Smith & Nephew is paramount and if there are breaches of the Code they should be reported to the Company Secretary, who is also the Group Compliance Officer, for actioning.

The purpose of the Whistleblowing Policy is to encourage employees to disclose any malpractice or misconduct of which they become aware and importantly to provide protection for employees who report allegations of such malpractice or misconduct. The policy applies to all employees, suppliers, agents, contractors and customers of the Group.
