In reporting sustainability, Smith & Nephew is committed to improved monitoring of its performance in its development as a sustainable business. It has made progress in introducing a range of non-financial Key Performance Indicators. It is intended to introduce these during 2007 against specified targets for health, safety and environment and social responsibility and to expand economic impact reporting.
