Young mother

mother

Many doubted she would ever survive, she was able to spend Christmas with her children.

The Bali bombings killed more than 180 people and injured hundreds, but one victim in particular touched the staff at the burn unit of Sydney's Concord Hospital. This mother of two arrived after having been treated with ACTICOAT◊ silver dressing from Smith & Nephew.

She had suffered 85% burns, but had been quickly treated. Within 48 hours of treatment, she was free from her burn tissue. ACTICOAT dressings were used to dress the wounds. Within a month the staff were confident that she was healed and she was discharged.
