Skin Protectant

Description

SECURA Barrier Cream D contains 5% dimethicone and emollients, which when applied to the skin provides a breathable, transparent, non- greasy, protective barrier layer. This helps to protect the skin against maceration from prolonged exposure to faeces, urine and bodily fluids which may cause skin to break down.

Indications

SECURA Barrier Cream D is intended for use as a moisturising skin protectant that helps to maintain skin integrity by protecting the skin from bodily fluids and providing moisturisation to dry skin. SECURA Barrier Cream D can also be used to prevent dry, chapped, or sore lips.

Precautions

For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, flush eyes thoroughly with water.
Keep out of the reach of children. If swallowed get medical help immediately.
Do not use on patients with a known allergy to any of the ingredients.
Only use on intact skin. If condition deteriorates, or does not improve within 7 days, seek medical advice.
