SCULPTOR Monopolar Ablation Probes
Smith & Nephew Endoscopy continues its innovation of radiofrequency (RF) devices with SCULPTOR◊, the new monopolar RF line of surgical devices for the treatment of soft tissue in joint-related injuries.
The growth in the use of RF devices in arthroscopic surgery is attributed to precise soft tissue removal and simultaneous hemostasis that these devices provide in areas of the joint that have been challenging and time-consuming to access with traditional devices.
The SCULPTOR◊ Monopolar Ablation Probe line offers six different tip configurations to address a range of surgical indications in the knee and shoulder including ACL notch preparation, meniscal debridement and subacromial decompression, a procedure in the shoulder to relieve pressure and pain caused by bone impingement on the rotator cuff. The tip configurations are available in variety of angles and offer other flexible options including suction/non-suction and tip malleability.
