The JOURNEY^◊ Bi-Cruciate Stabilized Knee System is designed to feel and function like a normal knee. The path to developing this advanced knee system began by first gaining insight into unmet surgeon and patient needs. Using a new generation of analytical and simulation tools, Smith & Nephew conducted an in-depth analysis of the articular surfaces, kinetics and kinematics of the normal knee. With this knowledge, Smith & Nephew has been able to better understand normal knee function as well as conventional knee system limitations and to create a more robust high performance knee.
