Honorary Life President

Kenneth Kemp

Kenneth Kemp was invited to become Honorary Life President in 1990, on his retirement as Chairman of Smith & Nephew.

He joined Smith & Nephew in 1953 and was appointed Company Secretary in 1957. He was appointed to the Board in 1962 on which he served as Deputy Chairman, Chief Executive and Finance Director. He then served as Chairman of the Board for 14 years from 1976.
