ALLEVYN Gentle

Adaptable care

Versatile and conformable1-3, with a gentle silicone layer for use on fragile skin4

ALLEVYN Gentle is an adaptable dressing for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds under secondary retention, even in difficult-to-bandage areas*1.

Featuring a new, gentle silicone contact layer designed for easy lifting and repositioning5.

Designed to help improve your standard of care.

Combining new and existing ALLEVYN technology:

Suitable for fragile skin – a new gentle silicone contact layer designed to gently hold the dressing in place during bandaging5, while minimising wound trauma and patient pain during dressing changes6-7.
Versatile, to meet your needs – a soft3, multi-way stretch2 dressing that can be cut to size2 for use on multiple wound types. It conforms to body contours on awkward or mobile anatomical areas with a breathable top film*1.
Highly absorbent – hydrocellular foam absorbs high levels of exudate*8-9, and can effectively absorb viscous exudate*10, maintaining absorption under pressure2.
Supports fast healing – promotes a moist healing environment to facilitate wound progression, granulation and epithelialisation whilst helping to minimise the risk of maceration1,8,9,11.

Built to deliver everyday reliability and address the challenge of treating difficult wounds on delicate skin4. ALLEVYN Gentle may be used for up to 7 days9, depending on exudate, with potential to minimise the number of dressing changes and save associated nursing time.

Designed for day-to-day flexible performance on fragile skin
