Internal rib fixationThis new course discussed all important aspects of polytrauma and provided an update on current concepts and controversies in polytrauma management. Along with a patient example, the entire pathway from initial admission through to rehabilitation was discussed. The international faculty of trauma experts provided a educational view into trauma orthopedics for surgeons working in level 1 trauma centres with several years of experience in the management of polytrauma patients and long-bone fractures.

Presented at the Smith & Nephew Expert Connect Centre in Croxley Park, UK on 17-19 May, 2017.
